Students spend their mornings in Spanish immersion classes at varying levels, including vocabulary integration and conversation in several contexts. Afternoons and evenings include cultural classes such as dance, cooking, and Latin American film. Evenings offer time for you to explore Cuenca or enjoy the company of your host family. Because we administer a placement test to divide students into learning groups, all participants -- from beginners to fluent speakers -- have access to small-group language and conversation classes at their level, as well as the homestay and excursions.
